摘要
在泰州学派中,王襞是格物修身、反求诸己的积极倡导者之一,他把反己修身视为治国平天下的基础,要求人们反躬自求自得,同时注重严以律己、宽以待人,出了问题别讨伎俩,逐外驰求,应多在自己身上找根由。
In the theoretic school of Taizhou, Wang Bi was one of the active advocators of investigating things by self-cultivation and seeking the cause in oneself instead of others. He laid self-cultivation as the foundation of managing the nation in order and peace, requiring the people to exanline one's own conscience, meanwhile, being strict with oneself and lenient towards others, being responsible for wrongdoings, and seeking the cause in oneself rather than in others.
