托克维尔的《论美国的民主》涉及早期美国的道德伦理规范,作者把它们总结为荣誉、爱财、冒险、劳动、纯洁和勇敢等6个方面。虽然它们带有一定的个人主义和利己主义色彩,但有其合理之处。这些道德伦理规范对我们今天树立社会主义荣辱观、建设社会主义核心价值体系、引领社会良好风尚、提高人民思想道德素质和构建社会主义和谐社会有一定的意义。

On American Democracy written by Tocqueville concerns about the early American moral ethical norms, which are summarized as sense of honor, love of money, taking a risk, love of labor, clean and honest, and bravery. Though they are full of color of individualism, some of them are rational. Therefore, they can play an important role in establishing socialist concept of honor and disgrace, constructing socialist core value system, leading social good mode, raising people＇s ideological moral level and building a harmonious socialist society.
