the article discussed the concept of lung yang asthenia, etiopathogenisis and pathogenesis, clinical manifestation, syndrome classify, diagnosis and treatment from origin to development on the basis of ancient and now literature. It corrected the view to pay attention to lung yin but not pay attention to lung yang in Chinese medical theory. At same time, it provided the reliable evidence to direct clinic by Chinese medical theory especially to treat pulmonasthenia.
