It is the development of computer science, the changes of computer requirements from society and other subjects and the further reform in computer courses at both middle schools and primary schools that have brought about great influence on computer-based education at colleges. This paper expounds how to change our teaching idea, contents, means and environment etc. to meet the recent needs for the techniques of computer operation, application and information from every walk of life so that we can foster high-quality talents who are able to make good use of computers in every field and make them keep abreast with the development of our society.
