The Comparative Study on the Service Industry of Main Cities in Henan Province

采用DEA(数据包络分析)模型对河南省五个主要城市的服务业竞争力水平进行了定量评价,研究得出,除洛阳之外,其他四个城市的服务业发展均处于无效状态,无论是技术有效性还是规模有效性的评价结果,都深刻反映出河南省服务业的总体发展状况不容乐观,因此,不仅要弄清河南省服务业发展滞后的三个重要原因,还要为全面推进河南省服务业的快速发展提供参考意见。

This paper quantitatively analyzes the competitive level of service industry in five main cities in Henan. The result shows that, except Luoyang City, the service industry of other four cities all remain the state of inefficacy. Both the result of technology efficiency and that of scale efficiency all reveal that the low development status of Henan service industry. There are three important reasons for this situation. The research concerned provides a reference for advancing the rapid development of Henan service industry.
