This article introduces the basic concept of FTTH and several common solutions to its voice business. In order to suit the need of voice access service in FRITH, this paper puts forward a realization of dual-mode voice access user terminals, then describes in detail to support the dual-mode voice service access ONU hardware and software implementation methods, discusses this ONU developed problems that need to be addressed, and describes the market situation and development prospects of ONU.
