艾丽斯.沃克是当代美国文坛上最杰出的黑人女作家之一,她所创立的妇女主义有别于传统的女权主义思想,艾丽斯.沃克的妇女主义思想坚持黑人或有色人种女性群体的特殊性,反性别歧视,反种族歧视,强调两性的和谐与融洽,追求人与人的平等和人性的和谐。
Alice Walker is a great black writer. Her ideology of womanism is different from the traditional feminism. It insists on the unique of the black people or the people of color. With an emphasis on anti-sexism, anti -racism, and the harmony between men and women as well as between the black and the white, it pursues a world where people live happily and equally together.
