Various publishing houses in China will pile up certain amount of slow - selling books every year. Making paper pulp, selling at a discount and sending away as donations are their main ways of disposing these books. However, some libraries, hindered by lack of financial support, can not afford to buy these books although their collections are very poor. The paper makes a detailed discussion on how to bridge the information gap between these publishing houses and libraries to make full use of these books and to reach a win -win cooperation.
