补天与出世——《源氏物语》中源氏与《红楼梦》中贾宝玉形象之比较

宝玉和源氏,或缺内心动力,或缺外部条件,都难承补天重任。补天梦断之后,他们不约而同人世求雅,但随着"永恒女性"玉殒香消,两人看破红尘,皈依佛教,由暂时的"坐忘"达到永恒的解脱。

For lack of internal impetus or external circumstances, neither Bao - yu nor Genji could bear the responsibility of patching the holes in the sky. Feeling frustrated, they coincidentally turned their attentions to seeking for the true love and beauty in the earthly world. While after the death of ＂Woman of Eternity＂, they both converted to Buddhism to pursue eternal aloofness from worldly affairs.
