高专英语阅读理解教学中图式策略的运用

On the Application of Schema Theory in College English Reading Comprehension Teaching

认知心理学领域中的图式理论阐述了阅读理解的心理活动过程,并指出阅读的能力由语言图式、内容图式和形式图式决定。因此,在英语阅读教学中,教师可以从三个方面来提高学生的阅读能力:1)丰富学生的语言图式和内容图式;2)注重篇章结构和文章体裁,帮助学生构建形式图式;3)激活学生已有的相关图式,培养学生的预测和判断能力。

The schema theory, in term of cognitive psychology, explains the psychological procedure of English reading comprehension and also points out that reading ability is determined by linguistic schema, content schema and contextual schema. So in the teaching process of English reading comprehension, the teachers can improve the students＇ abilities of English reading from three aspects ： enriching the students＇ linguistic and content schema; paying attention to the structure and style of the reading material so as to assist them in building contextual schema; activating the students＇ schemas and helping the students build abilities of forecast and judgment.
