摘要
习语是经过反复使用,千锤百炼而造就出来的语言形式,在给语言增添色彩的同时,也给英语学习者带来了一定的困难。可以说,习语的习得是英语词汇学习中的难点,也是英语教学的难中之难。认知语言学从崭新的角度提出习语是有理据的,并给出习语教学的建议。
Idioms, which are ubiquitous in language, are difficult for language learners. In light of theory of conceptual metaphor, metonymy and conventional knowledge, this article attempts to analyze idioms in cognitive view, the purposes of which are to point out idioms are motivated, and to give suggestions for teaching idioms.
