从改写理论看林纾的有意误译

On Lin Shu's Deliberate Mistranslation from the Perspective of Rewriting Theory

林纾的翻译在我国翻译史上是一个特殊现象,一直以来,他的译作受到很大的争议。传统的翻译批评强调译作对原文的忠实对等。认为"林译小说"有很多误译,不忠实于原作。以翻译学文化操控学派的主要代表人物勒弗维尔的改写理论为框架来分析林纾译作中的有意误译现象,可以看出其有意误译有很高的研究价值和积极意义。

Lin Shu＇ s translation is an unusual phenomenon in Chinese history of translation and it also brings much dispute. Traditional translation studies attached great importance to the equivalence and faithfulness of the translation text to the source text. In that case, fictions translated by Lin Shu were often blamed by critics as full of mistranslations or unfaithful to the original. Taking Lefevere＇ s rewriting theory as a framework, the author reconsiders and analyses Lin Shu＇ s mistranslation in his fiction translation and stresses its research value and positive effects.
