摘要
素质教育发端于古希腊自由教育和中国孔子的"做人"、"成人"人本教育。作为源远流长的素质教育思想,它的很多东西仍然值得我们继承和发扬。从对中国素质教育的历史考察和对国外大学素质教育理论和实践的评析中,特别是在对通识教育和素质教育的比较分析中,可以看出:素质教育是人类追求"类主体形态"、实现人和谐与协调发展所揭橥的最高理想。
Caliber education originates in the freedom education in ancient Greek and humanistic education of Confucius. They still deserve to be inherited and developed by us. By exploring the history of Chinese caliber education and commenting caliber education theory and practice of foreign countries, especially by comparatively analyzing general education and caliber education, we come to the conclusion that caliber education is the highest idea of hmnan being seeking after homozeneitv and aehieving harmonious development.
