何其芳的《夜歌》可以说是小资产阶级知识分子向无产阶级战士转化的心理记录,是特定政治语境下人性蜕变的心灵文献。它精微地揭示了革命价值理念怎样把战争语境、民族自由的渴望、新中国的梦想整合起来,纳入历史进化论的轨道,从而对何其芳人性基因的意象化符号诸如"爱情"、"自然"、"夜"与"梦"进行删除、修改、压制的。何其芳在被改造过程中的矛盾困惑与其坚持的"快乐哲学"之间的缝隙,让我们看到了他的分裂人格。
