When geographical boundaries between ethnic groups that were previously built by natural environment have broken through along with the continued development of them, the expansions of borderlands to occupy more natural resources must lead previously distant ethnic groups to conflicts as a result of these expansions. In the long history of downs and ups of ethnic forces with time, buffer zones on the borderlands where ethnic groups eontact one another have taken shape. It has been proved by history that buffer zones on the borderlands always serve as a hotbed for the emergence of new ethnic groups.
