摘要
本文在扼要地回顾美国地球静止卫星ＧＯＥＳ遥感发展动态的基础上，论述为了增强我国对天气、气候和空间天气的监测能力，我们必须站在发展战略的高度，考虑和制定我国２１世纪地球静止卫星遥感的发展战略。
The recent developments in GOES satellite remote sensing are briefly reviewed first.Then,it is discussed that to enhance our capabilities for monitoring weather,climate,and 'space weather',we must take our stand at the strategy of developments to consider and work out the strategy of geostationary meteorological satellite remote sensing in China for the 21st century.
