As an important component of Bohai Sea economic cycle, Yantai urban agglomeration＇s further development has important and realistic significance in promoting regional economy level and the society harmony. And it is an urgent issue on how to further exploit potential, enhance the strength of the urban agglomeration. Through the analysis of the present situation of the development of Yantai urban agglomeration and the advantages and disadvantages which influenced the regional urban agglomeration. A number of corresponding and pertinent development routes and countermeasures on how to expand and strengthen the development of Yantai urban agglomeration are proposed to provide some basis for future decision-making of the government.
