摘要
为适应大规模地形海量数据的实时可视化,出现了多种地形渲染算法,其中Mipmap算法和Clipmap算法是当今较为流行的两种,本文分别讨论了这两种算法的基本思想、数据组织和实现过程。最后,又提出了Clipmap的一种改进方法和今后的研究方向。
In order to adapt to the achievement of large - scale topographic data of the massive real - time visualization, people study a variety of terrain rendering algorithm. The Mipmap and Clipmap are two popular algorithms. We discuss the basic idea, data and imple- mentation process of this two algorithms. Finally, we discuss the improvement method and future research directions of Clipmap algo- rithm.
