摘要
在中西方众多的翻译理论中,许渊冲的"三美"理论是最为广泛接受的理论之一。许渊冲教授指出,诗词翻译的最高原则是"三美"的有机统一。本文旨在以苏轼词《水调歌头·中秋》的四首英译文为研究对象,通过这一原则从意美、音美、形美三个方面对译文进行对比分析,指出了各自的得与失。
Among many translation theories that have emerged in the East and West, Xu Yuanchong's theory of “Three Beauties” is one of the most widely accepted. He points out, the unity of “Three Beauties” is the primary principle for poetry translations. According to this principle, this paper makes a comparative analysis of the four English versions of Mid-Autumn Festival by Su Shi, in aspects of its beauty in meaning, sound and form.
