On the Sustainable Development of Resource-based Cities

由于资源枯竭、产业结构单一、市场需求变化等问题,资源型城市面临着继续提供国民经济发展所需的资源和保持城市自身持续发展的双重挑战。因此,可持续发展是资源型城市发展的必由之路。资源型城市可持续发展的对策:发展循环经济,加大城市的环境保护、治理力度,促进城市和谐发展;实施资源保护和节约战略,有效提高资源利用率,实现城市持久发展;以科技的创新促进技术的进步,调整优化产业结构,转变经济增长方式,培养新的经济增长点,促进经济稳步、健康发展,实现能动创新与城市的全面发展。

Due to the problems,such as resource depletion,a single industrial structure,changes in market demand and other issues,the resource-based cities are faced with dual challenges,these are:they have to continue to provide the necessary resources for national economic development and have to maintain the city's own sustainable development.Therefore,sustainable development is the only way for resource-based cities.The paper goes on to look at some measures for sustainable development,these are:developing recycling economy,strengthening urban environmental protection and control,and promoting the harmonious development of cities;implementing resource protection and conservation strategies,effectively improving the utilization rate of resources so as to achieve urban sustainable development;promoting technological progress with technology innovation,adjusting and optimizing industrial structure,changing the mode of economic growth and cultivating new economic growth points;promoting steady and healthy development of economy,and realizing the urban comprehensive development and dynamic innovation.
