“功能对等”观照下的《静夜思》两译本评析

Analysis & Comment on the Translations of "Nostalgia" from Functional Equivalence Theory

诗歌是融信息、美感和表情功能于一体的一种文学体裁。本文以奈达的"功能对等"为向导,分析许渊冲先生和翁显良先生的《静夜思》两译本在信息、美感和表情方面的功能对等,旨在洞察不同译者对原诗的不同解读及他们的翻译风格。

Poetry is a kind of literary style which is the fusion of informative function, aesthetic function and expressive function. Guided by ＂Functional Equivalence＂ Theory of Nide, this paper analyses and comments on two different translation versions of Li Bai＇s poem ＂Nostalgia＂ ,which are translated by Xu Yuanchong and Weng Xianliang, from three aspects i. e. the functional equivalence in information, aesthetics and expression. It aims at perceiving different traslators＇ understanding to the original poem and observing their translation style.
