对国内外近年来在三维水流泥沙数学模型的研究应用情况进行总结和评述，指出三维泥沙数学模型研究的必要性和重要性，对数学模型的基本方程、边界条件，泥沙扩散系数，泥沙沉降速度，数值计算方法等进行讨论，介绍模型的验证和应用情况，最后提出改进和完善三维泥沙数学模型研究、应用的途径。

The research and application of three dimensional mathematical model of water flow and sediment transport have been summarized and discussed in the paper.The necessity and importance of such models are described.The paper discusses the basic equations,the boundary condition of sediment,boundary friction,the diffusion coefficient of sediment,settling velocity of sediment,and the numerical method.The verification and application of some models have been introduced.Finally,the approach to the improvement of the research and implementation of 3D sediment mathematical models has been presented.
