摘要
文中提出了一种基于模板匹配的字符识别算法。该算法在对输入的字符进行预处理的基础上对字符进行特征量提取,预先将字符分成若干个集合;然后再对各集合中的字符进行模板匹配,最终对字符做出判决。试验结果表明,模板匹配算法保证了字符识别的正确率,而对字符进行预分类,则缩小了模板匹配的字符对象范围,弥补了模板匹配算法对于大量字符耗时多的缺点。
An algorithm based on pattern matching method is proposed for characters recognition systems. The characters are normalized by the character pretreatment. The feature extraction of characters is realized, the characters are divided into a number of small collections. Finally, the algorithm makes judgments according to the results of the template matching in the range of small character collections. The results show that the template matching algorithm ensures the accuracy of character recognition, and the characters pre-classification could reduce the character searching range and save the time.
