摘要
本项目的设计任务是为香港中文大学各科学院系建立一个6500m^2的研究实验室设施．因而需要实验室规划、精密建筑及场地规划等专业技术以解决建筑物邻现有科学馆而设．紧密联系整个校园、选址位于陡峭山坡上等诸多困难。
The commission for the Postgraduate Research Lab consists of 70,000 square-feet （6,500m^2） research laboratory facilities for the various science departments of the Chinese University of Hong Kong. The project requires technical expertise in laboratory planning, sensitive architectural and site planning to meet the proximity requirements to the existing science center, links to the campus context and overcoming the difficulties of building on a steep slope.
