In March 2006, RMJM was appointed to create a master plan and Phase I project design for the first new university in the county of Suffolk, England. The university required the first phase building project of 34,450 SF/10,500 m2 be completed by September 2008, The university intended to provide further facilities in line with the RMJM master plan over the course of the next five years, with a total of 82,000 SF/25,000 m2 of new university buildings completed by the year 2012.
