Study of the Universal Values: Problems and Disputes

普世价值研究从学理上说,是20世纪90年代普世伦理研究的进一步延展。普世价值的涵义、可能性问题等都是普世价值争论的主要内容。但当前的普世价值研究,更注重从中国社会发展的实际出发,探讨普世价值争论的实质、普世价值观对于中国社会发展的意义、社会主义核心价值体系与普世价值观的关系等。这些问题也正是普世价值争论的核心。对此,学者们的观点各异,五彩纷呈。

In terms of academic theory, the study of univer- sal values is the extension of the ethnics of universal values in the 1990s. The connotations, possibility of u- niversal values and other issues are the main contents of the present disputes. The present studies, consid- ering more about the reality of China, pay more attention to the contents of the disputes, the significance of universal values to China’s development, relations between socialist core value system and universal values and others, all of which are the core of the disputes of universal values.
