On the Negative Texture Effect in Clothing Design

服装设计的艺术表现语言中,面料肌理效果的作用非常显著。有意通过褶皱、抽丝、镂空、洗磨、烂花、拉毛、起球、浮经显纬、局部断纬、经纬不匀、拼接、堆花、编结、盘绕等人为的工艺形式来破坏面料本来的正常肌理效果,从而形成某种奇特的"缺陷肌理",常常使服装设计作品具有特殊的表现效果,带给人们全新的审美感受。

The texture of the textile plays a very important role in clothing design .A method that destroy the normal texture of the textile purposely through some special process may form an unusual texture which is called negative texture. The peculiar effect caused by this negative texture often brings people some new aesthetic experience. From a different angle of thought,this essay tried to find out the possibility of creative space of the negative texture effect in clothing design.
