摘要
不同于一般城市定位在新、奇、异标准之上的规划展示馆,唐山城市展览馆的主体是由几座朴素得几乎没有任何审美价值的旧建筑构成。它的前身是位于市中心大城山西麓的原唐山面粉厂,其封闭的围墙隔阂了山与城市。因此,工厂在新的都市条件下搬迁后,市里动议将数十座规模庞大、结构完好的单层厂房和仓库彻底拆除,用开阔的绿地公园来连接山体与城市主干道。
If the 1976 earthquake was an accidental demolition to Tangshan, the current urbanization movement is intentionally to erase tess appeatin9 urban structures. The citys former grain depot is one of such victims. Located on the foot of Da Cheng Hill, the cradle land of Tangshan, this gated depot blocked the connection between the hill and the city.
