The Vicissitudes of Jinan

远古的济南，曾经是一片大海，鱼类和贝类在千佛山、玉函山顶上漫游；后来这里又成了荒原，巨大的鸵鸟在党家庄一带驰奔。再后来，这里有了野马、梅花鹿、大象……当然，人类也在这片古老的土地上出现了。

Ancient Jinan was a large area of sea. Fish and shellfish swam on the top of Mount Qianfo and Mount Yuhan. Later Jinan became a vast tract of wasteland. Giant ostriches ran in the area of Dangjia Village. Then, wild horses, spotted deer, and elephants appeared here, so did humans.
