教育民主是现代教育发展的趋势,教育民主源于对教育的平等和公平的追求,它包括教育平等和教育公平两方面。教育民主的有限性是一个不能忽略的存在。教育民主的有限性指受各种因素的制约,教育平等和教育公平的实现局限在一个有限的范围和程度,主要表现在教育差距、教育歧视、教育特权和教育约束等方面。教育民主的有限性根源于因政治、经济、文化等因素的制约所造成的教育发展水平的差异和教育过程本身的保守性。

The realized limitation of educational equality and educational fairness reflects education gap, education discrimination, education privilege and education constraints and so on. Limitation of educational democracy roots in the politic,economy,society ,culture and other factors, which caused differences in the level of educational development and conservation of educational process.
