This paper probes into the importance of developing the information literacy education for university students from the present situation of university students＇ information literacy, and expounds the problem ot how university library to promote effectively the cultivation of students＇ information literacy from aspects of integrating library＇s competitive resources, improving the professional qualities of the librarians, and formulating the corresponding activity arrangement in concert with university＇s information literacy education, etc.
