This paper expounds the horizontal distribution regularities of the collapse-column-associated faults and the distribution regularities of the cross sections of the faults on the No.8 coal bed in Ximing Coal Mine, this paper makes analysis on various geneses of the collapse-column-associated faults, and probes into the formation mechanism of the collapse-column-associated faults.
