Brief Introduction to EDIF

引言 EDIF是Electronic Design Interchange Format的缩写,即电子设计互换格式。 随着CAD/CAE系统和工作站技术的迅速发展,各种设计系统所得到的不同数据之间的互换及调用越来越成为严重的问题。因此,必须为这些不同的电子设计数据建立一种标准的互换格式。 过去已有许多转化格式和硬件描述语言,有的使用相当成功。

EDIF is a general standard electronic design interchange format. Thr ough briefly introducing its level, syntax, overall structure and kernel of contents, this paper mainly discusses EDIF descriptive ability for a much wider variety of design data.
