摘要
在歌剧《唐卡洛斯》第三幕开头，沉浸在孤寂之中的国王菲利普二世，面对着众叛离亲的局面，唱出了堪称全剧最令人难忘的咏叹调“孤寂难眠”。他发现了不爱他的妻子恣意反抗自己，他觉得自己老了：“当我来到生命暮年，我将在阴暗的墓穴下安息。”
OUTLINE/On 28 March 2009,Verdi's Don Carlos will be co-produced by Shanghai Zhou Xiaoyan Opera Center with Shanghai Opera House at the Shanghai Grand Theatre.Don Carlos is a five-act grand opera set to a French libretto by Camille du Locle and Joseph Mery.It is based on the play Don Carlos,Infant von Spanien by Schiller.The world premiere performance at the Theatre Imperial de l' Opera on 11 March 1867 was not favorably received.To fit Parisian audience's need, Verdi added ballets to the first two acts, Over the next 20 years,numerous cuts and additions were made to the opera.No other Verdi opera exists in so many versions.
