Yang Bi＇s translation of Vanity Fair has always been honored as the model of literary translation. Many scholars and experts have appraised it from different angles. This paper shall focus on the figures of speech in Yang Bi＇s translation through the analysis of typical examples, and hence come to the conclusion that Yang Bi＇s translation stresses rhymes and neat structures besides the faithfulness to the original text so as to make her translation work lifelike.
