Skopos Theory and the Translation of Chinese Dishes＇Name into English

功能派翻译理论于20世纪70年代产生于德国。其核心理论是翻译的“目的论”。本文试图从“目的论”的视角对中同饮食文化进行解读，从而对文化负载中餐菜名的英译提出自己的看法。

Functionalist Translation Theory came into being in Germany in 1970s, of which the key theory is Skopos Theol. This paper tries to decode the dietetic culture of China and propose some personal views on translations of Chinese dishes＇ name into English.
