摘要 本文首先讨论了“新一代计算机”的概念、不同的研究与发展途径、它们的共同特点等。接着综述了作者认为对八十年代新一代计算系统的研究与发展至关重要的八十年代最新计算技术。然后列举了若干不同国家沿改进或创新的途径研究开发的新一代计算系统的突出的例子。这些计算系统都采取多处理器结构,基本上适用于有算法可循的信息处理。最后还讨论了沿另外一种途径研究与开发新一代而向非算法信息处理系统问题,这就是神经元网络或神经元计算机。作为对全文的小结,作者提出了发展新一代计算(机)系统值得注意的几个问题。 The issues on the concept of 'New Generation Computers', different ways of R&D, and their common features are discussed first. A general survey on the up-to-date computer technologies of 80 s follows which are considered important for R&D of new generation computing systems in the 90s. Some examples of distinguished computing systems with multiple processor architecture are introduced which are developed in different countries along the way of reformation or innovation. They are, basically, used for algorithmic information processing. Another way of R&D on new generation non-algorithmic information processing systems, i. e. the neural network or neurocomputing, is also discussed. Several points that are worth keeping in mind are suggested on R & D of what are called new generation computing systems.
