摘要
W.H.奥登是英国30年代诗人的代言人,早期受到艾略特诗歌戏剧化主张的影响,诗中具有较明显的戏剧性。结合戏剧的基本元素:戏剧语言、戏剧动作、戏剧冲突、戏剧悬念、戏剧结构,分析奥登早期诗中的戏剧性,奥登的单首诗中往往包含多项戏剧性的特征。
W.H. Auden is regarded as the exponent of England＇ s poets in the 1930s. In his early period, he got the influence of Eliot＇ s idea of dramatism. His early poetry has a strong dramatic propensity. This paper intends to systematically analyze the dramatic characteristics of Auden＇ s early poetry with the elements of theatre ： dramatic language, dramatic actions, dramatic conflict, dramatic suspension and dramatic structure.
