摘要
本文介绍目前美国在大规模考试和英语教学中最为流行的几个作文自动评分系统的基本原理并对这些系统进行简单的评述。所涉及的系统包括Project Essay Grader（PEG），Intelligent Essay Assessor（IEA），E—rater和Criterion，IntelliMetric和MY Access!，Bayesian Essay Test Scoring System（BETSY）。
Several automated essay scoring systems are introduced and commented in this paper. The systems involved include Project Essay Grader （PEG）, Intelligent Essay Assessor （IEA）, E-rater and Criterion,IntelliMetric and MY Access! , Bayesian Essay Test Scoring System （BETSY）. Most of these systems are widely used in English instruction and high stake tests.
