摘要
本文以《英语课程标准》有关学习策略的描述为比照,借助问卷、测试和访谈等手段,对农村初中学生英语学习策略运用状况进行的调查研究。结果表明:农村初中学生运用英语学习策略的总体水平不高,与《英语课程标准》的要求存在差距;高分组和低分组的同学在运用认知策略、调控策略方面差异显著,但在交际策略和资源策略的运用方面却没有明显差异;男、女生在认知策略和交际策略运用上存在显著差异,而在调控策略和资源策略运用上则没有明显区别。
With reference to the relevant descriptions concerning English learning strategies specified in the English Curriculum Stand- ards and by means of questionnaire, test, and interview, this paper attempts to have a close examination of English learning strategies employed by the rural junior school students. Results indicate that the frequency of strategy application is quite low and there exists a disparity between the students' actual application of learning strategies and the requirements of the English Curriculum Standards; that the top group students make better use of cognitive and management strategies than bottom group students while there is no significant difference in the use of communicative and resource strategies' and a significant difference arises in the employment of cognitive and communicative strategies between male and female students while no significance is found in the application of management and resource strategies.
