This paper analyzes the development and causes of different views of nature, and effect of human beings＇ production activities on the views of nature. It also focuses on historical background and scientific significance of Marx and Engels dialectical materialism, and believes that it is necessary to hold on scientific view of nature, and harmony between man and nature in order to realize the sustainable development.
