扭曲向列相型液晶电光效应的实验研究

An Experimental Study of the Electro-optic Effect of the Twist Nematic Liquid Crystal

扭曲向列相液晶盒两侧偏振片的偏光方向相互平行时,在无外加电压时,无光透过;给液晶盒施加电压,有光通过。实验上测试了其透光情况,并给出了透光强度随所施加电压的变化曲线图。

When the polarization direction of the two polarizers beside the twist nematic liquid crystal cell is parallel, the transmittance light intensity is zero in the voltage-off condition, and light will pass through the cell under the voltage. The relationship between the transmission intensity and the voltage was studied experimentally, and the curve that the intensity varies with the voltage was also obtained.
