In the paper, signal transmission speed and transmission loss of PCB base material were reviewed. Selection of raw material for MEGTRON 6 made of PPE resin from Panasonic Electric Works was introduced. At the same, performance characteristic including dielectric constant and dielectric loss tangent, thought hole reliability, anti- CAF, eye diagrams of MEGTRON 6 was analyzed.
