摘要
学租是维持书院正常运行的主要经费来源,但清代书院学田在经营中问题重重。九江德安敷阳书院的学田在租佃中因田亩不实、田米不清、刁佃不惩及兑票不靖等原因,造成书院办学经费入不敷出,书院有名无实。虽然时人曾开出合田、内票、择人、专差、减课等对策,但依然无法挽救书院于咸丰四年化为乌有的命运。清代书院学田的经营不善,是导致书院兴废旋踵和退出历史舞台的重要原因之一。
School farm income is the main source of the academy＇s normal operation, but in Qing Dynasty academy school farm met lots of problems in management. Fuyang Academy went bankrupt in the fourth year of Xianfeng because of the poor management on its school farm. The poor management of school farm in Qing Dynasty is the main reason that causes academy＇s bankruptcy.
