摘要
徐继畬《瀛寰志略》是鸦片战争之后中国士人撰写的一部较有影响的舆地学著作,该书在介绍欧美国家的政治法律制度时,翻译引介了一批法律新词,成为中国近代法律新词的滥觞。
XU Ji-yu＇s World Geography is the first of the influential works by Chinese after the end of Opium War.The book translated and introduced some legal terms to Chinese while introducing the U S legal system,and thus is regarded as earliest resource beginning of Chinese legal words in mokern China.
