Interpreting New Metaphors of Love from the Perspective of Conceptual Integration Theory

文章借助Fauconnier的概念整合理论,运用概念整合网络模型阐释新奇爱情隐喻解读的认知机制,并辅以图表动态性地呈现意义建构的认知过程。研究表明,概念整合理论对实时隐喻的意义建构具有极大的认知阐释力。同时,概念整合的视角也丰富了爱情隐喻的认知研究。

Based on Fauconnier＇s Conceptual Integration Theory,this paper is designed to explore the cognitive mechanism of interpreting new metaphors of love by virtue of conceptual integration networks,with analytic figures displaying the dynamic cognitive process of meaning construction.It proves that the Conceptual Integration Theory has great cognitive elucidatory power for the meaning construction of the real-time metaphors.And examining love metaphors from the perspective of conceptual integration enriches the cognitive research of love metaphors as well.
