摘要
隐喻不仅是一种修辞现象,而且是人类对客观世界的一种认知方式,存在于人类思维中。人类的话语中充满了隐喻。本文从认知角度探讨了隐喻在话语建构和理解中的作用,探讨了影响隐喻话语建构和理解的因素:语境和文化背景。
Metaphor is not only a phenomenon of rhetoric,but also a cognitive way in which human beings view the objective world.It is our mode of thinking.Human discourse is imbued with metaphors.The present paper attempts to explore the functions of metaphor in discourse construction and comprehension from a cognitive perspective.Two factors——context and cultural background which influence metaphorical discourse construction and comprehension are covered.
