中国现代文学理论创立伊始,就受到西方文论的深刻影响,这是在现代知识情形下不得不然的事情,从根本上说则受制于中国社会文化现代性发生的特殊性质。随着全球本土化进程的加速推进,尤其是随着现代性进程及其自我反思的曲折冲突,中国文学理论的身份确认、发展走向以及由此造成的诸如文学观念、研究方法、精神境界等问题,成为文学理论家关注的焦点。中国文学理论建设路在何方?一种强有力的思路就是会通中西文论,以自铸伟辞。这当然是一个宏大的理想,却也并非无可挑剔,当中尚有许多细部问题需要审视反观,因而并不是一个毋庸置疑的研究前提。这组笔谈就是针对这一重要问题展开的讨论,希望通过学理性的反思,为中西文化会通的可能性及路径提供建设性意见。其中既有共识,也有争议,而争议恰足以表明此问题的复杂性。

Editor＇s note： Chinese modern literature criticism has been greatly influenced by western literature criticism since its foundation, which is inevitable under the backdrop of the modernity of Chinese social culture. With the acceleration of global naturalization and the twists and conflicts in the progress of modernity, literature theorists focus their attention on the identification and momentum of Chinese literature theory and the resultant literary ideology, research methodology and spiritual realm. How to build up Chinese literature theory？ A dynamic idea is to integrate Chinese and western literature criticism to establish our own theory. Such a great research hypothesis is undoubtedly worth our while to examine and reflect. Thus we have invited the opinions on the academic question so that constructive views out of rational argument will be achieved.
