In the information age, 21 century university students＇abilities to adapt to the needs of the society have focused the attention of the society. The paper analyzes the status of information literacy that reflects the viability of the college students, the characteristics and advantages of the wiki technology in teaching, It also proposes that the introduction of appropriate wiki technology will effect the training of university students＇ awareness of information, information skill , information ethics, as well as to provide more access more information, resources and environment at schools and, therefore, to train the students to promote knowledge innovation and meet the needs of the society
