以毛泽东为核心的第一代领导集体,创建新中国后,在世界上人口最多、一穷二白面貌依旧的东方农业大国的错综复杂的历史环境中,坚持走自己的路,开始对社会主义革命和建设道路进行艰辛而又带开创性的探索,取得了社会主义革命和建设的伟大成就。这就是:全面确立了人民民主专政制度、人民代表大会制度、多党合作和政治协商制度、民族区域自治制度等社会主义基本政治制度和公有制的社会主义基本经济制度;取得了《论十大关系》、确定八大主题和制定八大路线、《关于正确处理人民内部矛盾的问题》、社会主义社会阶段论和"两步走"的战略等一批重要思想理论成果;建立了独立的、比较完整的工业体系和国民经济体系。这一切,为当代中国一切发展进步奠定了初步而坚实的基础。

In a large Eastern agricultural country of rather complex historical environment, with the largest number of population and least resources, the Party＇s first Zedong at its core, adhered to our own way and started the generation of Central collective leadership with Mao hard, inaugurated research on socialist revolutin and construction road, and even scored great achievements in our socialist revolution and construction after the foundation of new China. That is： establishment of basic socialist political systems of over - all system of people＇s democratic dictatorship, people＇s congress system, multi-Party cooperation and political consultation system, and regional autonomy system and basic socialist economic system of public ownership; the ideological and theoretical achievements of On the Ten Major Relations, the determination of Eight Themes and the Establishment of Eight Lines, On the Correct Handling of Contradictions Among the People, Theory of Socialist Phases of Society, ＂Two-Step Strategy＂, establishment of independent and fairly comprehensive industrial system and national economic system. All of these achievements have laid a prelimilary and solid foundation for all the development of contemporary China.
